Happy Ours Sailing

S/V Happy Ours was built in La Rochelle, France and commissioned in Annapolis, Maryland. After two years of research, we confirmed that the FP40 Lucia offered the best balance between comfort and vessel performance. Happy Ours is a sleek cruiser with plenty of beam and deck space without looking boxy or awkwardly tall. The portside L-shaped dinette can accommodate up to eight with additional seating along the transom and on the starboard-side lounge. The saloon is spacious and its large windows provide for a 360-degree vision. The large glass doors open to a cooking and socializing area which is on the same level as the cockpit. The skylight brings in plenty of natural light, so you don’t feel like your boxed in like other catamarans.
Forward, there is a large sun pad “lounge” that spans the front of the cabin house. It’s a nice place to relax as additional space provided by the trampoline.

Happy Ours was designed with four cabins and two heads, so unlike many other vessels, there is no need to shower over the head.  The shower area is generously proportioned and the oversized sink and counter space provides the comforts of home.
